7-20-20 THOUGHTS

Job 34:32
Teach me what I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will not do it again’?
The passage above jumped off the page as I read it.  I began to contemplate all the things I cannot see.  Then I thought, if you can’t see them, how can you think about them?  The largeness of God and the smallness of Phil are brought together one more time.  Lord teach me what I do not see.  Could it be that the things I don’t see are often things I do not WANT to see?

Ps 143:8-10   Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.   9  Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; I take refuge in You.  10  Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Ps 139:23-24   Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; 24 And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
A great song helps me to remember these words.

Ps 19:12-14   Who can discern [his] errors? Acquit me of hidden [faults.] 13 Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous [sins;]  Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.
We are discussing light, and knowledge and truth and God’s way this morning.
God has REVEALED IT ALL..  “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear!”
2Pet 1:3   seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
Eph 5:8-10     for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light  9  (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), 10
trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
Ps 25:4-5   Make me know Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. 5  Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.

Ps 90:12   So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.
I will pray,    “Lord, teach me what I do not see.”

My Prayer:
Oh God, teach us what we do not see.  Help us to know the fulness of your truth.  Lead us to being able to apply all that we know.  Make our faith powerfully active Oh God.  May the world see you, Oh God, in us!

 In Jesus precious name                            Amen
